Description:
Chacko was found as a stray in someone's garage where he hid to get out of the cold weather. A group of friends took him in and they have been passing him from foster to foster while trying to find his family. He was eventually surrendered to ATDR and his vetting and health evaluation has begun. Chacko was too thin and malnourished to receive vaccinations yet - but his bloodwork is good and he is heartworm negative. That in itself is a miracle, so we have really good feelings about Chacko's future over all. Stay tuned as we learn more about this sweet boy and he begins his adventure to better health in 2016! NOTE: Chacko has a long way to go – we need to put a lot of weight on him and he needs a dental and neuter before he is adopted. March 1, 2016 we will evaluate him and hopefully he will be ready to go to his loving forever home.
