He has gained a couple of pounds and filled out nicely. He likes to play with his foster brothers and sings for his dinner. He has a silly little personality and loves everyone he meets. He loves lap time and is always so well behaved. His big triangle ears are often perked way up and he is just the cutest thing ever. Oliver is ready for his forever home.
ORIGINAL BIO - Oliver is an extremely sweet older gent that was picked up as a stray. He spent a bit of time in the shelter and is so happy to be in a foster home now with soft beds, warm blankets, two squares a day and lots of love and attention. When we got him, the poor little guy was feeling horrible with a terrible cough and could barely breathe due to congestion. He was so tired he slept for almost two solid days before he started to feel better. Once on antibiotics his darling little personality started coming out. He is starting to spend more time outside lying in the sun and exploring the yard. He now comes over and “asks” to be picked up and cuddled on the couch. Oliver is probably 9 years old or so and weighs about 14 pounds. He is heartworm negative and has received all of his vaccinations. He does have some dental issues and a few fatty tissues that will be taken care of once his round of antibiotics is done. This little guy is just pure sweetness. When he looks at you with that cute face it just makes you smile and want to love on him – you just can’t help it! He is fairly quiet and seems to do very well with his foster brothers and sisters. He hasn’t been cat tested but he doesn’t seem to have a prey drive so he will probably do just fine in a house with cats. Right now he sleeps on a dog bed right beside the big bed but he will probably move on up once he is feeling more comfortable. He came to us crate and potty trained. Oliver is just such a sweetheart he would make anyone a super companion. He is a quiet little guy and probably would do great in a quiet house ready to give him the love and life he deserves. Please consider adopting Oliver, one of the sweetest dogs ever!
