Sophie must be adopted with her companion, Zoey (adopted).

Sophie and her best gal pal Zoey were surrendered when thier owner could no longer care for them. She reached out to rescue in hopes that her girls would get a wonderful home and be able to stay together forever!  That is our goal for this precious pair. Sophie loves her older sister Zoey and acts like her protector.  They were raised together from puppies and Zoey loves Sophie and takes good care of her too!  Zoey has a congenital deformity of her feet - she walks on her heels so she isn't quite as fast on her feet as the average dog.  She gets around great - and doesn't seem to notice her limitations at all.  She has funny feet and nails and you can see by the photos that they look a little strange.  She isn't bothered and hopes that someone else will not be bothered either.  She isn't much of a leash walker but loves to snuggle and hopes that whereever they land will love to cuddle and snuggle with them just as much!  Both girls use a puppy pad as they were trained to do - and both love to sleep in the big bed.  Sophie's feet prevent her from jumping up on the couch but she will patiently wait to be lifted and prefers for you to pick her up like the princess she is! These precious girls are the sweetest dogs at ATDR and deserve a wonderful home where they can be together always!
