Shelby, formerly known as Bonnie, was used for breeding and rescued by a local shelter when she was 2 years old. She was very scared since she was kept locked up in a cage. A sweet lady adopted her from the shelter and changed her name to Shelby. She lived with this person comfortably and has now been handed over to ATDR since the owner is moving out of the country. She would do really well with someone who has time to snuggle with her. She is a bit over weight, spayed and up to date on all her shots. Shelby is a very smart girl. She can shake your hand and roll over to play dead.
If you're looking for a wonderful companion to relax and share life with, Shelby is your girl. She's so deserving of a home where she'll be loved and treated as a family member. Please fill out an adoption application for Shelby. She'll be the best little friend you could ever hope for.
