Bitsy is an adorable girl who loves life!!!! She's a cuddler, and loves belly rubs! Because she is a dapple, she has one slightly blue eye and a small white crest on her chest. Her coat is very soft and shiny. She is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She responds to her name, gives kisses, and loves everyone!!! She hasn't met a stranger yet and her tail wags all day long!! Bitsy is great with other dachshunds and uses the doggie door. She is heartworm negative and will have a dental cleaning soon. When she is approached by calm young children, she sits very still and allows them to pet her head. She's not a barker, and sleeps on her bed all night. Her foster mom just can't say enough good things about her! Bitsy is a few lbs overweight so she's on a strict diet to lose a couple of pounds.

 

Update: April 29, 2009 - Bitsy's diet plan has gone well and she's already lost 2 pounds!  One more pound and she'll be all set!  She has the softest coat and is just a total sweetheart.  She comes when called, she's calm & gentle, and her tail wags 90 mph all the time!
