Meet Austin and Dallas two wild and crazy guys!   These two sweeties were dropped over the fence in the side yard in the Waco pound with two adult dachshunds.  During the hottest week of the summer, Austin and Dallas were filthy dirty and covered in fleas but more than happy when someone brought them inside and called ATDR.  Life is about to take a serious turn for the better for these cute boys! 

Austin is a love bug. It was obvious that when he came he had no idea what being in a house was. Everything and every noise seemed to scare him. He is still a little timid but slowly opening up to things. He is doing really well with his house training. Loves playing with his brother Dallas and his foster brother. He is loving having toys, once his foster brother showed him that they squeaked, he was hooked. Has a toy with him all the time now.  He loves being with his foster Mom, doesn't let her to far out of his sight yet, since he is still unsure, so just starting to explore things a little more. He would rather spend his day on your lap or by your side, with a toy of course.  He sleeps in his crate at night with no problems. But he would rather be in the big bed, loves napping there during the day with his brother, foster brother and Mom. He loves being affectionate, he just wants to give and get love. So if you are looking to give and get some loving, Austin would make the perfect dog.
